FairyNinjaStar - Introduction

Hello everyone, I thought I should formally introduce myself considering I've been spending quite a few hours in Oasis lately. In Minecraft, I'm known as FairyNinjaStar. In real life and outside of Minecraft, I'm known as Sarah Christina.

I've been on Oasis almost 2 weeks, but I've been playing SMP for about a month or 2 prior. Yes, I'm kind of late in the game as far as Minecraft goes, it was something I had heard about but never tried until now (someone was kind enough to buy it for me). Oasis is the first multiplayer server I've played on; I've since tried a a few others, and I must say, it's pretty impressive compared to what else is out there. The people are friendly, the staff is helpful, and the features are nice. 

In real life, I'm a female (yes ninjas can be girls too :p) hardcore gamer, apparently quite a rare breed. I've played just about every free MMO or MMORPG out there at one point in time or another (I sometimes get gamer ADD), and I'm the self-proclaimed queen of MMO's. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing? XD. I have a B.A. in Creative Writing and Journalism. I'm currently a freelance writer looking for ways to make an income.

In Minecraft, I enjoy building, mining, exploring, crafting and collecting things. I also like socializing. I'm not a big fan of PvP and probably never will be, I prefer working with people cooperatively instead of fighting against them, I guess. I'm pretty friendly and chill, straight-forward and honest. At the end of the day, I'm just here to have fun. Real life is stressful enough, Minecraft is my escape. And what a lovely escape it is! I can honestly say I haven't felt this way about a game in a long time.

Welcome to Oasis, Its real nice to see some of the older crowd like me coming to play minecraft, don't worry about being new to minecraft I was a noob a year ago to this game and server. Hope you enjoy your stay here, anything I can do to help just Yell Gweedo  Help me lol.

Thanks Gweedo, I thought I was the only one over 30. I've been feeling like old fogey, especially when I encounter players who are 10 yrs old. lol.

Thanks and...yes, yes I am...but ssssssssssshhhhh don't tell anyone it's a secret. I don't want anyone trying to catch me, those pokeballs are small and cramped.

Im alittle late to the welcome party, but anyway Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay. I was the same as you looking for a server and didnt find any that felt right. When I logged on Oasis for the first time it was much better. People here generally friendly and helpful. Except when Mad goes on one of his rants. O.o 

Anyway come by /warp boardwalk some time check out the shop and when you get trusted (because im sure you will) you could get a plot and build a house there. :)

Welcome to the server. You should hop on teamspeak (hell anyone reading this should ) because it's a great way to get to know everyone as well.

Thanks! Hmm, idk about teamspeak...the walls are thin in my room and I'm next to 2 people, one works day shift the other works night so I always have to be kinda quiet. If I'm not in my room, I get no privacy...so either way it seems I never have a chance when I can actually go on teamspeak. Plus, I've heard how Cynder gets when he's on there....lol.
