This, this is my pain, I fix and delete soooooo many hanging trees here on Oasis, I wish there was simple solution to this but its also the responsibility of the player to completely cut down the trees, in the Jungle the tools I have are hard to use because the /del tree command thinks the tree is still on the ground due to the vines that are there touching the ground. I need all players to CUT down the whole tree and not be lazy and leave the top.

hey if i find them i take the wood. it was left there anyway ;P

and also replant at least 1 sappling, so the landscape doesn't start to look like a post apocalyptic world after a few weeks

It starts like this.

1- The world is generated, the trees, landscape, and seas are born.

2- The noobs come, half cut the trees, and leave it like that, because fuck physics.

3- David and the staff delete them all with WE.

4- Tanaka replants it.

5- The noobs come again.

And so begins the cycle of life.

Actually, pretty much 1/2 of my time on oasis is tree chopping and replanting. Obviously staff can't cover every dark corner of the map.

Thats strange

I was once an Admin on a server til it shut down, But this is HONESTLY how staff feel when you leave a floating tree, Especially jungle trees:

But if you do cut down a tree, And you notice you left it up, Just ask staff if they can remove it for you, That way staff don't get AS angry, And the tree is gone for the beauty of the landscape!

I just noticed a hanging tree top near my town :( -- jungle tree at that... I chopped down a bunch of trees...i'm usually very careful to get the whole thing.. i really hope it wasnt me :( I'll have to cut it all down when I'm back on... unless one of the lovely mods gets to it first....
