Whitelist much?

I am back form playing other games and noticing that minecraft is better and so is this server, but to my understanding the Whitelist is down no apparent reason. WHY! I just would like to know whats going on cause its kind of hard to keep track of all of the new people and all of them calling greif. I just feel bad for the people that have ot deal with that sort of stuff. Its cool to have more people join but it just comes to a point where ist not fun.

We haven't had whitelist since at least 1.8, and the server is plenty fine. We got this thing called LogBlock that tells staff who broke what block. Then staff would do a RollBack which will undo the grief. Keeps the staff on their toes and keeps new players constantly coming in.

Thanks I was just wondering and noticing a lot of roll backs.

The last time we had whitelist was not 1.8 - it was 1.6. We prefer to not have a whitelist as it allows for new players to join. If some of those new players are griefers, then so be it. We staff have the tools to ban those players and rollback their damages.

I said 'at least' because I've been here since 1.8- I can't speak since oasis before then.
