Coooookies

Cookies; one little item. You'd never expect them to become geniously used by the staff, or me at least anyways, for our advantage. I'll get straight to the point here. They are the BEST item in the game for staff and i'll tell you why, they are the best means of keeping everybody in order and preventing griefers in the universe.

When you were kids and you did something good, you'd get a cookie. Same concept in minecraft. If you mess up and someone's mad at you, give them a cookie. They will be shocked and probably forgive you. I wish I knew how to say this so I'll give you an example.

Your house is broken, staff rollbacks the 'griefer' and he loses everything he's done in an hour. Turns out it was just your bud and the real griefer gets banned. Staff apologizes to the buddie and gives him a cookie. Problem pretty much solved. Staff helps rebuild the stuff that was rollbacked. Problem solved. No hard feelings.

You spawn in the server, intending to grief. You get a warm welcome and staff gives you a cookie and offers to show you around. Your first thoughts; why grief these people, they're so nice! Griefer is prevented.

Someone accidently kicks you and you don't know why. You log back in and it turns out it was a mistake. You're kind of mad when all of a sudden: BAM! Cookie. All hate fades away as you munch on the chocolate.

These are lame examples but I hope you see what I'm getting at. Most problems can be solved with a single cookie. An in game item with absolutely no value, but bucketloads of significance. Cookies are the most amazing thing in minecraft and that, my friends, is why it is.

I did not plan anything I typed here so it's pretty much my thoughts on the ingeniousness of the cookie. All hail cookies. Also, i'm completely sober atm, js.

I always wanted to be a professional cookie taster in real life. Maybe I can do that in minecraft. =3

I hate to crush your dreams, but we made a democratic decision(ie lordgonk and me) to replace the cookies with cake. Cake is not cookie. Thus you cannot professionally taste it. So your fired. Bubye! have a good life!

Ermm for this to happen the staff would have to do the area RB, if they just did the name that greifed then the person wouldn't loose anything, unless ofc they were the one's griefing - which case no cookie as griefers don't get cookies.

I think you're all missing the point. Cookies are one simple thing to brighten someone's day.
