Halp me with a new computer.

Okay, so, yeah.
I want a new computer, and I may get one.
But first, I'll need some help on picking a good one.
Now I know quite a few of you are good at this.
I also know that build your own is cheaper and yields a better computer.
So either suggest a pre-built that is good, or give me a list of parts that work together
...and maybe some kind of site or tutorial or something that would help me put it together. I kinda don't know how to build one at all....
I live near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, if you could find somewhere that would do it for me maybe?
Oh and also, I'd like to keep this in the $600-$800 range.
