Whitelist - Bring it back!

Okay, I wasn't sure of where to post this, but i think we need the whitelist back with how big of a server attack/chat spam we just had... I mean, how many people do you have to send to attack a server? Every time they would get on, they'd auto-spam the chat, get kicked, and come back... And BANNING DIDN'T HELP, or from what I could tell... I saw like, 80 people on while others were getting kicked.

No we don't. It happens. I was on a PvP server when it was attacked by 108 spammers. Its nothing new, and nothing Oasis can't handle.

I'm pretty sure Lucas stopped it. It will come back online soon, so stay tuned.

its nothing we cant handle but a few plugins or something to defense against these grief teams because i know it cant just be me who is getting really annoyed from this. I mean I just want to play minecraft, not clean up griefs and have to always be on the look out.

So I whitelisted the server. They had devised a new way to spam the chat, so someone stopped the server. It rolled back a day or so, not their fault, then I put up the whitelist. It turns people back, saying, "Apply for the whitelist at bit.ly/oasisw"

The I rolled back the server about 10 minutes, totally my fault.
