What took me by surprise was the hidden entrance with the flick of a switch. Indeed one could achieve so much with this new block.

I love secret doors !!!!!!!! But piston is still fucking useless.
Why cant Notch think of something cool like more animals or maybe more weapon or more material etc

First, watch your language.

Second, that's just your opinion. Personally I think pistons are an awesome idea, and can do a lot of stuff.

Third, Notch didn't come up with the idea. Someone gave him the idea and he implemented it.

Improved circuits, controlling water, pushing blocks like you said, secret doors, mob traps, the possibilities are endless. Only someone with no imagination would say they're useless.
