Christmas Lottery (1000 Oasis Dollars)

Hello my friends! I think Christmas is my favourite holiday... the reason for this is because everyone gives gifts to each other. Some how this holidays makes everyone exceed their normal level of generosity. And the same goes for me! So, what I have decided to do in celebration of Christmas this year (on Oasis). Is hold the first annual Christmas lottery! To enter for a chance at winning 1000 Oasis dollars for free, please do exactly as I tell you. Post these words in the reply section, followed by your minecraft username. "I solemnly vow to do at LEAST ONE great deed for someone in need this holiday season". Just remember, put your minecraft username at the end. You may only write this once, because writing more than once will not count, and it shows the exact opposite of generosity, greed. The name will be randomly drawn from a hat or a bowl or whatever I decide to chose to pull the pieces of paper from. Whoever wins shall spend the money on whatever they want, (Oasis wise). Do, hopefully we can get at LEAST 50 participants! Come on everyone! SHOW YOUR CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!!!!!!!!

"I solemnly vow to do at LEAST ONE great deed for someone in need this holiday season. 4emersons."  I don't really like these things that say stuff like this because when people help others it should be from their heart, not because you want 1000 coins in Minecraft.  I feel like when people do this, there is a lot of empty love going on, which in my opinion is just as good as doing nothing.  But I will enter anyway, and just keep living the way I do, in love and generocity for others.

I agree, but the reason I did this was because I see so many people starving or cold or sick, and I think about ways I could help these people, or people could help me help them. I' m not suggesting that you go and give a homeless person or someone in that condition some money or whatever. I'm suggesting that you do a good deed like pick up someone's wallet if they drop it. Or hold open the door for the handicapped. Something like that. I figured the only way some people are gonna think about this is if there is a prize to be won. Although I agree with 4emersons. It would be more genuinely kind if you were not motivated by this. Though, disregarding the vow, I want to raise Christmas spirit on Oasis. To make it EVEN more like a community of happy people, because, I don't know about you, but my community loves to celebrate Christmas. Gosh, there is this one person who literally has a fake landing pad of Christmas lights for "Santa" on his roof. I wish Oasis had as much spirit as that! Even though that might be a bit far out, considering this is just a minecraft server. I would think it would be a cool idea to make a special warp or something for a Christmas party. It could feature a drop party, free food, a build-off, fireworks, horse-racing... Something like that would be another great memorie for everyone on Oasis. Though, the most simple way to raise a satisfying amount of Christmas spirit ( for me) would just be to get at least 50 people to enter the lottery.
