Why do you deserve Member status? How do we know you can be trusted? (please say more than just "I don't grief!"): I am an educator and a new player looking to learn and understand this game for my profession. I work with a large population of learning disabled children who play this game during free time and have heard various professionals and parents in the field vouching that this game is beneficial for processing and executive function. I have a long standing history of integrating video games and education, and worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Connecticut. At the University of Connecticut I worked under the CAMS department head and Harvard graduate Roger Travis, proctoring a college credit course that took place entirely in cyber space over Lord of the Rings online. I went on to conduct research and an independent study on videogame lore and the connections between our own virtual experiences and the tradition of folklore and story telling. I feel I deserve member status because I am obviously here to be professional and enjoy the game, and only a fool would risk their name, career and research just to grief in a server.
