so im on youtube looking for cool towns/cities and i come across this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmOtY8QAmnU&feature=related this is just exquisite. the amount of realism and detail is arousing. here is the creators website all about the city. http://highrossferry.blogspot.com/ I'm sure everyone could find some inspiration here somewhere.

But wow this is just fascinating, the amount of effort put into this, I watched the entire video without anything less than a smile on my face. I guess it's about time to remake this.... on a bigger scale and in our own way.

Personelly, I prefer Medieval to Modern building styles, but I cannot deny: This is fucking amazing. I might do this on a singleplayer world....
