Taxes:

House Tax: For a house you must pay a house tax of 2 Iron per day into the tax office. If you are renting a house from a player the Tax rate will be payed to them (They can charge as much as they want but must pay the tax of 2 iron.

Mine Tax: If you own a mine you must pay 5 iron per day. **Public mine is free.

Our Government is a very thought of system.

We have a House of Lords. The house of lords is a group of Lords which is a rank given to highly trusted kingdom members. They meet up with the King/Prince to talk about town issues and development.

The Royal Family. Our royal family has only two members. Kevo, and Edward. We are connected by blood. That's why once Kevo gets Banned/Leaves Edward will become King. (That's not a threat LOL)

Town. Our town is located in a very cold winter wonderland. There's no food nearby unless fished. But on the good side there is ALOT of iron. Iron/Steel Bars is our main currency. Also Gold, and diamond are also used.

All members of the house of Lords must become a Lord by a member of the royal Family. A steel sword will be given upon receiving this rank.

Sounds awesome but....2 iron a day? Jesus thats like 2 coins from the shop. Try somethin like 10 gold each week. And, Not trying to be a dick or anything but....Why make us pay to own a mine? We can just build one outside your city for free. Also, I under stand the tax thing, but you should add a dept board. If someone owes a Debt and hasn't paid for more than a week you kick em out. And you know....Your tax system is kinda harsh ^_^;

Also, Take this from the only Artisan who is active on this server, We should be able to like, build our house one floor for free but you stack the price to 5 coins each floor upgrade. And also, I would love to join your town. Is there any room for a large plot?

Yeah, but other than that your town seems pretty cool.

Taxation: Taxes will be collected every week which will consist of either 50 iron ores (or bars) or 5 gold ores (or bars) starting Monday. **If you live in a hotel or make a hotel it is your choice what to make the price. You still have to pay normal taxes to the town added to the fee of the hotel to the owner if you do though.** Depts will not be tolerated under any circumstances and you will be banned if you miss the weekly rent 2x in a row. You can re-enter the town and get your house back by paying the amount owed.
Houseing: To have a house you must pay 5 iron for every 5x5 square you take as a base fee. Every upgraded floor is the amount payed for the base fee multiplied by the number of floors (For example. a 25x25 plot with three floors would be 5x5x3 adding to 75 iron total.) all current (02/03/2011) members get their current houses for free but must pay for upgrades.

**All money from houses/taxes will go towards projects for the town and the kingdom**

To join the town you must have the permission of Kevo235 or TheEdward as well as have read and understood the rules on the town bulletin board. Kevo will show you the rules upon entry to the town and it is your choice whether you abide by them or not, but remember, you may been banished from the town or banned from the server if they are not followed (Pretty much no griefing and no Harassment of any sort will be accepted)

What fun is that though :D We only added taxes to make it more interesting. The game needs to be spiced up a bit more. It's kind of like a little Roleplaying Town if you will. Some times good things come at high costs :D

ALOT of room after the last expansion. It took about an hour with 4 people and we just about doubled the size of the town :P So you can buy alot of space for your house if you decide to live here. There is torches everywhere so if monsters get added again the combination of 10 square high (or so) walls and massive amounts of torches will keep them from thinking about spawning within the city walls 8)
