I applied for veteran and i was wondering is there a set number of people that get promoted or is it just somthin else? just curios

Well, for vet staff ussauly picks 3 candidates and everyone chooses who they want.

That is correct, Each time promotions happen there will be 3-4 people up for the vet position. Every one gives ariley their votes and the one with the most votes gets the spot! simple enough
