Can't Stay Online In My House.

Post by TylerJohnGallic on 1/27/2016, 11:08 pm

I'm having the same issue again, Not related to cows or java or client version.
I Did however find a webpage describing my issues and a possible fix relating to Max bulk-chunks.

https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/badly-compressed-packet-1-8-clients.28815/

Idk what to do at this point, Can't go to my house and take 1 step without risking getting a constant DC lock.
again, I've done everything from uninstalling Java and MC to trying every 1.8 client and game ver on default.
I even cut out optifine, all mods.

Do you have any 'network optimization' programs installed on your computer? One of our staff had something downloaded and it was effectively throttling their connection to the server.

Also is it just on your computer or do you get constant DC'd when you are mobile or on a different computer?

I don't have another PC operational at the moment capable of doing MC.
I'll work on that one, as far as happening in other servers, the few other servers I do visit don't seem to effect me in this way.
Hmm, The only thing that could come close to a network optimization program would be Advanced System Care, has some tools to mess around in the registry and actively "optimizes Internet Connection" on command.
Thing is, I haven't used that in a month or so now, and the PC is unplugged for several hours at night.
I'd love to say its as easy as my PC being dopey but everything is working properly as far as i'm capable of seeing. (PC enthusiast)
Again, seams to only happen in my house so while the max bulk chunks may be set accordingly, perhaps something about my house requires large amounts to load correctly. Not to sure on the whole Java script thing, Scripting was never a strong suit of mine.

UPDATE:
I switched Internet connections and it's a bit better,
DC's aren't consistent and don't always occur immediately.
They still happen however much more randomly and much less constant.
As with the other connection I had, i'll need more time to confirm that it wont send me into a DC fit at my house and stays "few and far-inbetween" as it's being now. (My previous connection would allow me in my house sometimes for an hour or two on end than start sending me into DC fits ect.)
