OASIS HAS A NEW SERVER!! (Plz read)

So a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...

Sorry, couldn't resist to start the post off with that line.

Here's the drill.

As you all may or may not be aware, we (SMP) recently updated to 1.8. Now that's quite obvious,  but what you might NOT have noticed is that 1.8 is running on a brand-spanking new host. Yes sirs and madams, that's right. 1.8 is powered by an amazing powerful pun-generating server that purposely putt putts all day to help provide a perfect playing pastime for y'all.

Now this begs the question, "but mad where is the old host? is it gone?"

Well my friends, I have the answer.

Yes and no. It's still there, it's just being... re-purposed. You see, we have a monthly contract and I forgot to cancel the contract for January, so we have an extra server to mess around with.

I've turned the old host into a temporary TF2 server.

TF2 (Team Fortress 2) is a free-to-play FPS game. It's most known for its use of hats and cosmetic items, not to mention keys and the Austrialian thing surrounding the entire franchise.

I have the server set up so that players can play on it whenever they want. It has a 32 max player cap and includes all the maps in the standard rotation. The IP is 50.30.34.114 if anyone would like to join. The server itself is 100% vanilla. There is no whitelist and anybody can join. Alltalk is also off, but you can vote to enable it each game, if you'd like that feature turned on.

I am unable to connect to this server without a port number

Just put in

in the console window (press the ~ key [next to the '1' key to open console input]) and it will go through. 

Be forewarned, the server isn't very popular (yet) and I have to fix the map rotation. Bots don't work on any maps that are plr, koth, or ctf (payload race, king of the hill, and capture the flag, respectively). A handful of these maps are mentioned in the below spoiler.

Unsupported bot maps:

If you want to play on a different map simply pause the game, select 'Call vote' (it's in the top left of the screen, near "change server") and select the map you'd like to play. Then when the objective is completed on the current map, the game will end and the map will change.

Also for any TF2 veterans out there, any suggestions on how to improve the server would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to make this as low-maintenance as possible.
