When will it be her turn to win?

So, the past 2 days my wife has been sick. Monday morning she woke up vomiting and feeling nauseated, and a bit of a tummy ache. She thought she would be fine since she threw up, normally she does, so she went to work. All day she was vomiting any thing she put into her mouth. She stayed home yesterday, was able to eat more but still sick to her stomach. Today on the way to work the pain in her stomach migrated to her side and was a sharp pain, very painful.

Took her to our doctor about 9am and they think its her appedix. The took urine samples, blood samples, and sent us to a imaging center to get a scan of her abdomen. We will know within the hour if its her appendix.

Makes me feel sad to read this.
I've also had an appendictis, I know how it was like, but this looks much worse than I had.

I hope she gets well fast :/

That's so unfair with all that she's been through. I hope she gets well quickly.

I know what pain she is feelign as i lost my apendex in 2nd grade.... I was told im The youngest person in Michigan to lose it. It is very painful and i hope she can pull through it

Sounds like appendix or Gall bladder....either way Pax I pray she feels better really fast!

Definitely not her gall bladder. That was taken long before I came into the picture.

Ok so finally, the results are in!

Its not her appendix. Her doc says its most likely a stomach virus (gastroetitus(sp?)). Said if she doesnt improve by friday for her to go back in.

THANK GOD! Still bad she's sick. But still.

Yes if its stomach issues drink lots of ginger ale...vernors does wonders for those things or that Canda dry ginger ale works as well

I'm so glad its not her apendex as that is very very painful so thats good and a stomach virus is nothing compared to what she has been through.

She's a fighter, she survived cancer so she can survive a small stomach virus. Best buy a lot of ginger ale and medicine.

Also, I hear Vernors is super strong. Would it be considered ginger ale or ginger beer? All I've ever had is our good ol Canada Dry, although I have had a bit of ginger beer before. That stuffs hella tough. You could clean your drains with it.

Wow pax I'm so sorry for your wife yet happy it's not as bad as you thought anyhoo what works 10x better then ginger ale i this stuff called pedia light I can he it at like a Walgreens or CVS or something I usually drink this stuff when I get a stomach bug and I'm very prone to dehidration can't tell u how many times this stuff made me feel better btw it's not medicine or anything it's kinda like Gatorade but way better for U and really helps stomach bugs ( I recommend grape)
