A Letter to the Staff of Oasis!

Hello, 

I wanted to say thank you, to all the wonderful Staff of our server. For the past 6 months I have been an inquisitive pain in their collective butts, and they have helped me through so much! My posts here are seldom and often ask a lot of our beloved staff, and every time they have stepped up and met me with information, help, and kindness.

I once skyped Pax because I was so scared a build of mine would not be allowed! lol after 5 weeks of construction he came to give the final look and approved it! OMG I was screaming and cheering and laughing myself stupid! My GF seriously thought I lost my bloody mind lol...

Well the reason I am writing this is because once again I have a monster project that needs parts approved.
The new community blaze xp farm.

Soooo many of our beloved staff have tried to help me, our overworked Lina, Mega, Osgantharp, 4emers, Fairyninjastar... all tried in vain to roll back a destroyed blaze spawner for me... for days they tried to help! When at last Pax came to give it his try... omg I was scared as HELL! I could see him clicking again, and again, and again, for almost 15 min. trying to get the info for the spawners location... and then with a jolt! it appeared! and vanished just as fast! I can only imagine the look on his face as this happened another 4 times... In my head I kind of pictured him yelling at the server, Raising his mighty staff of Ownership, "I SAID EXIST DAMN YOU!" and at last the spawner stayed in existence!

sense then I have been hard at work, with the Staff checking in on me every so often. Always a friendly greeting, always wonderful tips! And last night I reached a progress wall. I revised the timer design from the original Etho's blaze farm from using repeaters to a hopper flop lock system, to reduce lag and chance of "breaking". Now because I tend to be very fearful of lagging the server out with my devices I end up pestering the Staff... no seriously I KNOW I'm a Pain in their butts! they never say it, and are always helpful... but i know it!

Fairyninjastar, Lina, apple, and one other wonderful Staff person... *I am soooo sorry I can't recall your name!" could not help me at the time I finished the circuit. so I waited for Pax... holy hell that man is busy! no luck! so here we are today. Fairyninjastar bless you! messaged Maddscientist on my behalf and came to my build herself so she could accurately describe the build for me. Thanks to her I have my little green light to continue my building!!!!

Lately... our servers Staff are overworked from the moment they log on. I see them get yelled at, harassed, even cussed out by some people... I'm torn... between outrage and sorrow.

These wonderful people help us players in so many ways! yet they go Unsung for so much! And if you try and heap thanks upon them, they shrug it off with a smile like its nothing! that level of humility, honesty, and caring... is so bloody RARE in todays world!!!!

So here I am! Singing your Praise! Because god damn it you ALL deserve it! and so much more!

I'll have to agree Dementia we/Oasis has a wonderful group of staff from the Jr. Mods to the owners!

Dang that was a lot of reading but well worth it

All of us players cannot say how much the staff mean to us with all the hard work they put into making oasis safe and fun 

so thank you all from the bottom of my heart and im sure all of the other players as well

I always love these staff appreciation posts. It really deepens that bond between people. Gotta love how staff are willing to drop whatever theyre doing to help anyone in need. Thank you all for the dedication! I only wish I could be around more to see it!
