Back from Washington DC <3
As you may or may not have known, janet may or may not have gone to Washington DC for a secret leaf block convention. Or, #2 he or she may not have gone to go be a white grill and have starbucks @~@ (totally was not the only person to walk out of the mall with 7 bags of stuff)
So...on my Washington DC trip our teacher and the tour guide took us around the city letting us freely hop off at the stops and come back at the specific time they list. However, um. I may or may not be the one always getting there late. Ok, maybe it was me most of the time. Ok, all of the time until the last day.
So, I happened to get a lot of souvenirs including a silver finished spoon. And my 24K gold fan, both of which are *probably* overpriced. Anyway, here's a photo of some things I got, I would probably post all the places I went to, if I can get the photos on my camera developed. Strangely, I still have the same typing skill not touching a keyboard in six days, but I must say. It feels so weird sitting in a chair, it's like I'm about to fall off, I haven't been sitting much except for the airplane and bus rides; both of which I slept on, ALOT.
Not pictured:
A gift bag I gave to my grandfather who served in the Vietnam War. It contained a coin with a very nice message to the war veterans, A flute, (because my grandfather talked about how he used to play it) and an class "c" ration for you know, memory's sake.
A really nice fan I bought, it was really, really, pretty. With a pink blossom design, this fan was just fancy.
An entire bag of typical tourist clothes @-@
An half filled carry on backpack of more clothes
Funny thing is, we have one hour in the Pentagon City Mall, and people were walking out with like one or two bags.
Janet:
*Drags out 7 bags, one bag full of total tourist looking clothing, and I mean FULL, and I didn't take a picture.*
Me:

Other people:
"How much did you spend? o-o"
"What did you even buy in there?"
"How did you have the time to look for all that?"
"You forgot the Starbucks to go with all that"
(P.S. I actually ran back inside to get a vanilla bean frapuccino to complete it. no joke.)
Also, there is this bear that is totally not suspicious or anything...And those glasses were totally not taken from the Manassas National Battlefield Park when no one was looking or anything like that. I mean what? There were no cameras and it was a crowded room...and they were shiny. And pretty. So like, why not stuff it in your bag when no one's looking? o-o Anyway, none of the things I bought were over 35$. Strangely, I find souvenirs there cheaper than souvenirs in let's say, San Fransisco. Always expensive butt the snow globes tho ;w; I also bought a sword, but I forgot the price of that sword. So it might be over 35$, but what I remember is another person in my group was buying one of those vintage guns. The lady apparently didn't know if the thing shoots or not, but she showed us what she knew about its fire capabilities. It was 105$. So uh, hopefully mine didn't have a steep price like that? Oh well.
