I am in a computer class right now, as I’m writing this. The teacher is a female, and I can honestly say she doesn’t know shit about computers. Just an example of her lack of knowledge, she basically merged DNS, IP, and ISP all together when she TRIED to teach them to us. “21. The IP (Internet Protocol) identify the domain name of the web address and always uses letters and/or words so people can remember the address easier.” A question that she just asked us on the test that I just took. Yesterday the whole school’s network was down, and she blamed it on “Mozilla”, not Firefox, Mozilla. She doesn’t even know the correct term for an internet browser. She tries to feed us shit. Another example, I’m guessing that she doesn’t know what buffering or streaming is, because she’s practically telling us it has nothing to do with our internet. As in, the older the computer you have, there is no way you can get a video on Youtube to load faster than it would on a newer computer, no matter if you have better internet on the older computer than on the newer. I hope she’s watching me type this, with some of that software that lets you monitor students computers, you know, that stuff that makes teaches think they’re hard when you go to the computer lab. Fucking retards.
TL;DR: A good majority of women know nothing about technology, and should never be able to teach anything majorly dealing with it. I do also think that people who know nothing about what they are teaching no matter what sex they are, they should not be able to teach it.

The tech support woman at my school thought that only macs have mac addresses.

It's VPN software, normally bought by the school district for it to be used on a mass amount of computers.
