Oasis X and Y Pokemon Tourney Signups

Logan, Taccy, Mary, and I have decided to host a pokemon tournament using pokemon X/Y versions on Nintendo 3ds wifi.


The Battle style will be Multibattles, in which 2 players team up on both sides of the field. Each player will have 3 pokemon, making 6 on each side of the field with team-up's. Each round, the losing team is eliminated. On the side that wins, both trainers move on as a team- even if all of one teammate's pokemon were KO'd.
At the end, the winning team is split, and those teammates must face each other for the grand prize.

We do not have a set date for this yet, seeing as we need to know who signs up, how many competitors, what time-zones, etc. This will help us decide on the optimal time and date to get the most people playing at once per round.
If you do not care who your teammate is, we will randomly assign you one when the time comes. You have until the decided date (To Be Announced) to choose a teammate.

As for entrants, we will not ask to see any of your team or movesets before the tourney. The only time we would need to see them, is if foul play is suspected.

~~~The only banned pokemon are:
  -Mewtwo (of any shape or form)
  -Wobbufetts that know Destiny Bond
  -ANYTHING IMPORTED POKEBANK, given we even have it by that    time. This includes any wonder-trade pokemon you received from someone else's pokebank.

  -Anything hacked. We will be watching for this.

~~~Each player may choose to have either one legendary or one Mega on their team. (This applies to each individual person's pokemon set)

~~~Ragequits = Automatic disqualification of player. Your teammate will be reassigned to someone else. (Either someone on standby, or someone eliminated previously). If you are disqualified due to raging, you will not receive any participation prize.

~~~Unstable internet: If you disconnect you will be given time to attempt 2 reconnects. If it keeps happening, unfortunately the player will be disqualified, and teammate reassigned. You will still receive participation prize.

~~~Partners can not have the same mega. Each player can have one mega, but you cannot have the same as your teammate.

~~~Found with few banned mons mentioned above?: You will be given time to remove them if we find you with them during the tourney, and restart the battle. Refusal results in automatic disqualification.

Oh that remind me, I think it would be a good idea to have one person save a battle video of each match so we can all watch them. (These can only be viewed on 3DS, but your post reminded)

They'll have to be posted after it's over, so you can't have a sneak peak at any tactics or teams.

Wondering if we should find an in-game reward if the winner is from pixelmon (on SMP its 20k + the $20). I don't play on there so I have no idea what they'd want I: (or do they also have a use for iconomy coins?)

20k coins would probably break the pixelmon economy, but we'll think of something :P
