Trusted

i just want to ask something,do you have to help in a certain way to become a trusted,im not asking for it,i'm just curious,as i've been helping alot and nothing has happened,i know this seems a little impatient,but im just wanting to ask,so if anyone could help,that would be great:)

Trusted is not only received by helping others. In order to get Trusted you need to show to the staff that you are active and trustworthy. Not all people who help out others are trustworthy. So, in short just hang in there and keep playing as you are now and you will get it. Also, don't feel bad, I have heard of a couple people playing for months before getting Trusted or Trusted+.

Basically this.  But it also depends on staff seeing your activity.  Just because your on, and some staff are on, doesnt mean that they notice you.  If you get on and dont chat much, we arent likely to notice your activity.  I am more pron to promote a member to trusted if I see them being apart of the community.  That proves to me that they are serious and are here to add to the community.

AND dont ask staff about being promoted to trusted. You just dont know how many members I have skipped because they asked. This can really bother staff and it just doesnt look good. It looks like to us that your just fishing for the rank. And that usually doesnt look good. I had a player one time, I had just decided I was gonna promote them to trusted, and while i was typing up the command they pm'd me and asked how come they were not trusted yet.

I KID YOU NOT! THIS REALLY DID HAPPEN! Once, almost twice, but it did happen.

Pax basically summed that up, but trusted is a rank given out to members, after they have proved that they they can be trusted. It is a tag that shows that you will not abuse the powers you are given.

Pax has a good description of how to get it. I got trusted because i never mention promotions unless i was congratulating the newest staff members. And some1 was asking some questions ingame so i felt it was my job as a member (i was member at the time) for me to answer the questions. Mad happened to notice and told me i looked better in blue then promoted me abc use i had answered so many questions and helped a new player build a base. I never asked how to get trusted nor ask for promotion. It took me a whole month to get trusted. Just be patient and you will get it at one point in time
