This is how you don't take anything seriously

My Mom's message on Facebook:
Hey you guys! Does anyone know a kid ... last name Dale. Not sure of the first name, possibly Evan? He's 17ish. He got in a fight with Yvette's son Brandon. Brandon won the fight, but the kid threatened to stab him, I guess. Wondering how tough this kid really is .. what type of person he is .. whether or not the threat should be taken seriously. Thanks for your help. - Love Mom

Lol if the kid actually stabbed him I think it'd be more worth it for the kid that was stabbed, just saying. I mean court up the ass, right?
Also, I don't know them so it's whatevers. Just tell brandon to like carry a bigger knife around with him so he can be like 'that's not a knife? That's a knife'

I got in fights most days from K-12 because I was anathema in public school. In my own experience, I found that threats of knife use should always be taken seriously - even if most of those threats are boastful and unrealistic. Most of the time, I reacted to any threat of weapon use by pro-actively beating the ever-living shit out of the perpetrator. This approach generally worked well for me. However, there were several times when a sorry loser pulled a knife on me, which never ended well.

The moral of the story is: Don't wait to find out if the fool was telling the truth about stabbing you. Tell the authorities immediately.
