Have They Rolled Up The Streets?

So, I've only been on the server for a few days, but I've already noticed something that may or may not be much of a problem. While in the Shop World, I was perusing the stores, as one does, looking to take a load off of my shoulders and my pack. I found numerous stores, many owned by members that I'd never even heard of. I bought the things I wanted, and started to sell the stuff I didn't need, when I encountered a roadblock. I soon received the message that the store owner didn't have sufficient funds for what I was selling.

When I say they didn't have sufficient funds, I don't mean that I was selling big things, like diamonds. I was selling run of the mill objects, like cobblestone. It came to my attention that some store owners haven't a penny to their name! This seems to be an issue for a store owner. And even if a store owner had money, they didn't have space in their chests for what I was selling.

Don't get me wrong, if I had enough money, I'd simply buy my own plot and make my own store. Unfortunately, I'm new, and poor, so that hasn't happened. But many of the users I was attempting to buy from and sell to are users I still haven't met, which leads me to believe that they may not be very active anymore. Which is a problem, if they plan to run shop.

So, I guess what I'm trying to ask here, is what would you suggest I do about this problem? Should I just build chest after chest to throw my currently useless goods in? I honestly don't know what to do. I'd like to sell my wares and become more wealthy, specifically so that I can buy a plot in the Mall World. I can't do that if I can't make money...

There's a saying where I live: "They roll up the streets at five." I just hope this isn't the five o'clock of Oasis...

Hey, I see your problem and there are probably some solutions but to sell your goods you could always make a shop out-side of shopworld and get a warp to it. Therefore you won't need to buy a plot.

All you need to do to make a shop is type this on a sign, above a chest.

<your name>
<amount of item>
B <buying price> : S <Selling Price>
<item name / ID>

Any leftover cobble, stone, dirt, sand, sandstone, wood, woodproducts ect you can always sell to me or to my store in /warp broasis. I have enough room in my chest and money to spend. Also i'm glad for any stack of dirt/sand(stone) you bring. I really need those
