New Update.. Great..

Welp, I updated to 1.4.6 and now I am unable to log onto Oasis for the time being.. Hopefully the new server will be up and running soon. One little question, though.. Will we be getting a new map or can we somehow keep the old one?

We will be still keeping this map! There are NO new terrain generation routines in this update!

This applies to both the 1.4.6 update AND the expected 1.5 update AKA the "Redstone Update".

If you want to play on oasis, you will have to downgrade your client to version 1.4.5 for the time being. As of this post, bukkit has not been updated for 1.4.6, so we will be remaining on 1.4.5 for the time being.

Is there a way to downgrade back to 1.4.5? I updated before I saw the forum post :(

This link is a simple way to revert your Minecraft version back to 1.4.5
It worked for me, hope it works for you and any others.

Or instead of downloading alot of useless launchers and taking the risk to get your computer infected with whatever floats around the internet these days, you can just pay attention and be prepaired yourself.

make a backup of each mc version yourself, and dont just click 'yes' when it says theres a update available
